When you leave, return the thermostat to 50°. Leave switch on auto. Wood Stove: The Logs are stacked in the garage under the steps. The stove has a catalytic converter on it; THEREFORE it has a set of instructions with it. It is very important that you follow these instructions to prevent burning yourself, or starting a house fire. The instructions are on the mantel by the stove. DO NOT USE OUR WOOD FOR BEACH FIRES. Fire Extinguishers: There are two extinguishers. One is located in the garage and one located in the kitchen on the post in the center of the counter. Cleaning Responsibilities: It's very important that the house be left neat and clean for the guests that follow you. All the cleaning supplies you will need are there. Vacuum upstairs, downstairs and the stairs. Clean the bathrooms: Tub/Showers, toilets and sinks. Empty wastebaskets. Mop kitchen floor, bathroom floors & utility room floor. Please do not leave any food that might spoil Garbage: There is a garbage service on Mondays. Please use the can on the north side of the house, (under the steps). When you leave: All blinds should be closed. Lock all doors, deadbolts and sliding doors. Turn off all lights, including the fan controls (the switches on the fans should click off). Unplug all small appliances. (coffee maker, toaster etc) Security: Set the alarm only if instructed to do so. *IF YOU GO CRABBING OR CLAMING: DO NOT USE THE SINKS IN THE HOUSE FOR CLEANING YOUR CATCH. PLEASE USE THE SINK IN THE GARAGE.
